Accurate diagnosis of urinary tract infection in pediatric patient isn't easy unless the best method is found of safely collecting their urine.

Both non-invasive and catheterized collection methods have issues, in that the former tends to be inaccurate and prone to high contamination, and the latter is both painful and traumatic for both the patient and medical staff.

Advantages of the Neo-Oris

Neo-Oris is a non-invasive urine collection bag utilizing hydrocolloid, rather than adhesive.
This makes a secure but gentle attachment to the baby, yet conforming to the baby's anatomy, so minimizing leakage and reducing the possibility of dislodgement when the infant changes positioning.

The close seal created by the Neo-Oris also reduces the chances of contamination, a problem with many other urine collection bags.

Continuous measurement can be made of the urine collected so ensuring a more accurate diagnosis.
